— Gold Hill Founder Ward Meeks
A LIFE of Memories…
For over half a century the community of Gold Hill has been home to a select group of Pacific Northwest skiing enthusiasts. The original group of pioneers developed their resort-home dreams at the top of Crystal Mountain’s Gold Hills Chairlift, creating Washington State’s finest ski-in/ski-out real estate. And, in doing so, created the quintessential Northwest destination. Their love for the mountain, the snow, and peaceful comforts has kept this community going strong through the years, making it the pride of both its founders and the current owners. Many of these homes are still owned by the original founders, now legacy homes in their third generation.
Current: Gold Hill consists of 29 lots with 27 existing homes. The community is eclectic in architectural style, size and age. A few of the original homes built in the 1960s are modest in size, 1,500 to 2,000 square feet. Some of the more recent homes are much larger, up to 5,500 square feet.
Build-out: At completion Gold Hill will contain 37 lots total. All remaining private land within Gold Hill will be placed in permanent “Open Space,” and owned by the homeowners’ association Gold Hill Community Club.
